Run employee scholarships and awards that reach every location and get judged the same way at every one.
The 2026 Franchising Economic Outlook from the International Franchise Association and FRANdata projects about 845,000 franchise locations and nearly 8.9 million jobs in the U.S. in 2026. Many of the brands behind those locations offer employee scholarships, recognition awards and location awards.
Those programs are announced centrally but lived locally. Whether an employee hears about a scholarship often depends on their general manager. Whether a nomination wins can depend on which regional panel scores it.
This session is built around two of the five dimensions of Review Integrity, a framework for judging whether an application and review process is fair, consistent and defensible.
The first is Intake Proportionality: does what's asked of an applicant scale to what's at stake for them? For an hourly employee, that means a realistic way to hear about the program, apply and finish, whatever their location or shift.
The second is Reviewer Calibration: are reviewers working from the same criteria, kept off applicants they know, and checked against each other? When regional panels and local owners judge, one generous or tough region can decide who wins.
When the answers depend on the location, the program misses the people it was built for. In a Gallup and Workhuman study that followed workers from 2022 to 2024, employees who received high-quality recognition were 45% less likely to have left their jobs. A program that only reaches some locations gives everyone else one more reason to go, and leaves HR without a clear answer when someone asks why the same locations win every year.
Who hears about a program, and how each region judges it, is set before the first application comes in. The time to fix both is before your next scholarship window or nomination cycle opens.

Does Reviewr pay scholarship winners or track fund balances? No. Reviewr runs the application, verification, judging and winner follow-up, including acceptance forms and proof of enrollment. It doesn't disburse funds or track fund balances, so your finance or payroll team stays the system of record. You can export a recipient report for them.
Can employees at franchise-owned locations apply?Your program sets who's eligible. Reviewr turns those rules into screening questions and a verification step. Questions about how your program should be set up across company-owned and franchised locations are best answered by your own legal and HR advisors.
Can applicants and judges sign in with our company login?Reviewr supports single sign-on (SAML/OAuth) for sign-on. Confirm your setup with the Reviewr team.
